Indications:
For post-operative recovery, bruises,sprains, muscle, ligament & tendon strain, nerve & crush injuries,
as well as the shock assoc. with an accident.
Ingredients:
Aconitum napellus 200c – Useful in acute conditions especially where a violent, shocking or frightening event has occurred.
Arnica montana 200c - All traumatic injury from falls or blows, contusions resulting in bruising, bleeding (external & internal), tissue degeneration, muscle overstrain & shock.
Bellis perennis 30c – Excellent for injury to deep tissue especially after surgical work & post spay. Blows or falls affecting the lower abdomen. Muscular soreness, nerve injury, bruises, general soreness of muscles with lameness of sprains.
Conium mac 30c – Older animals, weakness of hind legs – unsteady gait to inability to rise with progressive upward paralysis.
Hypericum perforatum 200c – Often referred to as the “arnica of the nerves” and thus excellent for injuries involving nerves, especially the extremities. Good for deep puncture wounds.
Ledum palustre 6c – Puncture wounds from sharp pointed instruments or bites. Good for wounds affecting fibrous tissue of small joints e.g. Heels.
Rhus toxicodendron 6c – Helpful where fibrous tissue is affected e.g. ligaments, joints & tendons and in conditions where pain & stiffness result (The “Rusty Gate” – stiff and creaky to open but once moved gets easier.)
Ruta graveolens 6c - Painful bruised, sprained & overstrained conditions. Acts on cartilage and flexor tendons & eye muscles (good for eye strain). Helps the “bruised bone” sensation and the sore & aching lame feeling following a sprain. Also good for fractures and dislocation.
Dosage:
5 pillules (dogs & cats) & small animals.
10 pillules (horses & large animals)
Hourly for acute conditions x 3 doses, then 2 -4 hourly x 3 doses. Thereafter, 1 to 3 times daily till well.
