Unique kit makes homeopathy easy! The bluebox kit, developed in Cape Town by well-known homeopathic pharmacist Ian Wheeler, provides a safe and effective way to treat everyday ailments and injuries through homeopathy. The kit contains 22 easy-to-use complexed remedies that can treat acute conditions and ailments such as allergies, hay fever, teething, bites, stings, injuries, headaches, pain and fever, sinus congestion, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, shock, anxiety, indigestion, stomach cramps and many others. "With the bluebox, we aim to bring nature's cure, via homeopathy to the lay person in a completely safe and effective way," says Wheeler. "We do this by simplifying the treatment of common ailments by grouping the symptoms together into one remedy that will treat many different conditions. In an emergency situation, there is no time to consult a homeopathic guidebook to find the appropriate single remedy. The complexes are ideal as a number of single remedies have been combined into one remedy that will cover a broader range of potential symptoms. "For example, the sting 30c remedy can be used for any stinging sensation be it caused by an insect bite, a bee sting, stings from a jelly fish or blue bottle and even severe sunburn," he explains. Through his daily consulting practice in the pharmacy, Wheeler and his partner, pharmacist Gayle Salter saw the need for a kit that would meet the demands of his clients for a more holistic and natural method of treating illnesses but one that would be straightforward to use and completely safe. This move is in line with the demand in South Africa for alternative methods of treatment and an increase in the popularity of homeopathy which seeks to restore health by stimulating the body's own system of defence and repair. The bluebox kit also includes a comprehensive information booklet with an explanation of the fundamental laws of homeopathy as well as detailed lists of the ingredients used in each remedy. "We also want to educate people about homeopathy, especially those who previously were intimidated by its perceived complexity," says Wheeler. |
